I made a difference

Let’s face it, sooner or later when things have been done & dusted ,there is a good chance according to your life’s beliefs that you will be held to account for your life.
Did you make a difference in your life and times for good or ill?
I am not expecting “well done good and faithful servant”.
More like “Well, you peaked too soon but you did try hard, sometimes”
or
"Your punctuation and spelling was rubbish"

Any thoughts about yourself

Re: I made a difference

I think I've made a difference to a lot of things Young Robert.
Hopefully, for the good, I am always getting blessed, so I guess I have.
But, I have said before, if there is a place up there waiting for me, I'm afraid I will not know anyone.

I have helped a certain someone with grammar and punctuation - You'll see.

Re: I made a difference

I haven't made a difference ... how could I?
I'm not a Newton, nor an Edison nor a Oppenheimer.
I'm not a Florence Nightingale .. nor a campaigner for anything.
I'm just ordinary.
Me.

But I suspect world sales of ginger nuts and Jaffa cakes have rocketed in my lifetime.

Re: I made a difference

I'm just an ordinary me too, I have no degree and I'm not bright academically. The only thing I can offer in abundance is my loving nature, I do hope I made a difference to peoples lives when I worked as a carer which I gave up recently.

To make one laugh is a wonderful quality in a person.

Another great quality in a person is listening and caring skills.

If I have made a difference I don't expect anyone noticed.

Re: I made a difference

My life has made no impact on anyone at all except that I've shared many years with my husband. I've invented nothing, produced no children, held down a rather boring job and made no close friends who would be devastated by my death. This isn't meant to be a deliberately downbeat post, simply the unvarnished truth. IMO most people leave very little in the way of footprints on the earth, and once their relatives' memories of them fade that's it.
