I suppose many creatures get into the country by boat or plane also in immigrants belongings.

We used to have a large banana warehouse in our town and large spiders were often found there, usually ended up in the local museum with a pin through them.

IT just looks like a big house spider to me, I thought Huntsman spiders had much fatter bodies? Spiders scare me they move so quickly so if it's a Huntsman I hope it's just got lost and didn't find a mate.
