Re: Thought for the day.

Maybe you can answer this question, I know you are quite clever when it comes to technical stuff, Bum Burps in Lycra...what happens? Is it safe to be down wind? Is there a blast zone?

Thank you

That looked very serious indeed. No wonder they need the helmet as well.

I did not spend time looking for that, surely this would increase the pressure in that area and lead to a larger explosion?

An implosion could be worse when burping.

Lycra pants become Lycra shorts.

Re: Thought for the day.

I confess I am still in lycra though it's solid top and bottom without branding - and only when I run.

Far form optimal for the viewing public, I only wear it on the beaches (not always the best dressed around me either) and trails.

Since chafing and rising body temperatures are always an issue here (30-33 C, humidity 65-85%), lycra works better than any other material for staying in place and wicking away moisture

I know that the downside of this is my age, but as a public service to the community I would never dress like this to go to the market, cafes.

I'll post a pic (about two years old after a race) for a second so you get the idea. I know my shelf life is running out..but it's better than streaking .

I think the problem is men in Lycra SM. Ladies look mighty fine.
