Re: Jobsworths.

Hi

One last response before I have to go off again.

I take the Dad thing very seriously.

Guy is not well at all and I need to provide for him.

Holly can well take care of herself.

I am buying with an eye on him in case he ever does need to return.

Apologies for the language.

Part of his last email.

****ing hell that place is awesome, can you speed it up by making a straight up bid through estate agent as I think tons of people will want that. I would move from Bristol to get that place if I was buying.

That to me is part and parcel of being a Dad.

You look after your kids.

Bristol he loves, but not an option, far too expensive.

I can cope with it, fishing is a bit further away, but a small price to pay.

It will be in Trust for him, just in case things go wrong.

He will never lack for somewhere to live.

Bristol? Is he home from the East then, Swimmy.

Sorry to hear you have health problems again - have you an appointment to have it sorted?

Hi

Bristol is where Guy used to live before he took off for Taiwan.

He wants to stay in Taiwan, but I must plan for the worst, a backstop in case things go wrong for him.

His Epilepsy is such that he may never be able to drive again.

This means a house with things in walking distance and a good train connection.

He is still high functioning at the moment.

I am back home, bleed sorted at present, but laid up again.

I am not high functioning at present.

The EMDR is affecting me, as is the bleed from my ear and the medication I am now on again.

Hence my erratic posts.

I am quite lucid at the moment, my next lot is due in an hour.

I will be away with the Fairies then.

This is not the best time for this to happen.

I am selling my house, normally not an issue, I would do the legalities myself.

I am being given the runaround by the prats at the Council about the purchase of a new property.

It is costing me a mint, something I could well do without.

I will survive, I always do, life however is not good at the moment.

Re: Jobsworths.

Swim, I have sympathy for your poor health, but this is exactly why getting a dog is not a good option. You tell us that you are getting better, but almost every week something else causes you to need more treatment....so looking after yourself is a big job, let alone looking after a new pet!

Just look at your lifestyle:-

Numerous health problems.
Moving house.
Lodgers & children that disrupt your ability to rest.
Being up at all hours to talk to Guy and check how he is doing.

I know these are things that you want or need to do but, is taking on more responsibility going to speed your health recovery?

If you lived a sedentary life and needed an elderly dog for company, it may work but you seem to be permanently on the go, or ill, and that wouldn't be good for you or a dog.

Getting better yourself, should be your biggest priority & if your doctors were reading what you write on here, I am confident that they would tell you to limit your life activities until you see some long term improvement to your own health!
