Sorry, Swimmy I have just seen this thread.
Glad you have Zac and Derek with you.
Nurse Nadi is just the right tonic.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you on Friday.

Re: A Scary Weekend

Hi

Thank you all.

The NHS locally is a nightmare, it really is.

I am nobody's fool, but it has really taxed me dealing with them.

I feel genuinely sorry for those who get get fobbed off and do not have my resilience or enough money to keep waiting on the phone to be answered.

It has taken me 11 phone calls and slightly over 3 hours to get 3 out off the four issues I need to have resolved.

I now have Patient Transport arranged for two confirmed visits.

My GP cannot see me for two weeks and the Fourth Issue, a Specialist, they are not moving on at all, it will be the end of May.

I genuinely fear for those less resilient than myself.

Re: A Scary Weekend

I think we're all in the same boat Swim, it is practically impossible to get advice care and advice now, and as for appointments - well we can whistle for those at my GP's. It is very worrying I agree.

No doubt the vision problem has scuppered your chance of driving again now, I think you said you had only recently got the OK again? That must be extremely frustrating to have a car and not be able to use it. I dread that.

Hope things go a bit smoother for you soon.

Hi

I have been in a big battle with the NHS, which locally has some of the worst waiting times and biggest negligence cases against them.

I had to pay for my eye test to drive again, passed, bought new spectacles.

My right eye is now not only weeping, it is also bleeding.

It has taken a massive fight to get me in tomorrow.

I have had five different Antibiotics for the infection in my right ear, it is agony.

There is no way the NHS will move on this, earliest I can get in is next Wednesday for tests and then next Friday for a Specialist and urgent Operation.

My NHS Nurses and GP, are going mad.

It is costing the NHS a Mint, I have two Hospital Transfers booked tomorrow by Ambulance, what a waste.

Meanwhile, one of the pillocks at the back has had his appointment for Erectile Dysfunction within a week.

Mid 30's,fit as a fiddle,he thinks it is a big joke.

Bragging today he has been prescribed Cialis, which he is going to sell.

That is the NHS today.

Hi

There are only 2 Police on duty tonight locally, the NHS will do naff all.

There is a distinct chance that tomorrow he may be picked up by an ANPR Vehicle for driving without an MOT and Insurance.

Such is life, these random events occur.
