pictures you hate

Before I start this thread I am my own worst critic of my photos, I can see exactly what i should have done but didn't therefore don't like most of them anyway.

How many photographers would actually own up that they sometimes take terrible photos

Re: pictures you hate

I've only got one like that. I mostly set my Canon SX260 to automatic. It will normally focus pretty well if I push the shutter halfway down and give it a second or two before pressing it down all the way. I wish I had given the camera more time to focus on this squirrel eating a piece of toast but I thought he'd be off if I wasn't snappy. I was too snappy. The amount of optical zoom given probably didn't help.

Edit: 'Hate' is probably a bit strong. I just with I'd done better with the shot.

that is why I consider wildlife photography to be the hardest of all. Buildings -portraits-landscapes can be retaken time and time again, wildlife you only get one go at it. Not only that but giving room for the subject to move into in a frame makes me miss more than I get right
