Camera/lens field test

As i have said i have a nikon D810 camera but up to now not really had a chance to give it a real test.

Spo today we went to Scotney Castle in kent to give it a workout.
Try enlarging the photo to see how sharp it actually is




camera Nikon D610 lens nikon 24-70 f.28 non VR lens

ISO 1600 @ f 16 at 70mm, for the tech minded shutter speed 1/800sec

for depth of field ( the nearest and furthest point in the photo below) enlarged every daffie in focus




This is a Jpeg picture straight from the camera no editing and KI have to say it is an outstanding match once the camera and lens are matched with calibration

Normally I am the worst critic, but these two pictures makes me think maybe just maybe I am getting it right at last

Next trip out will be to test the 0-200mm Nikon lens.
