Much of it is culture which mixed with politics and religion causes problems. Many people can't read so don't get a chance to read the books of their religion and have to believe what others tell them.

Well would be odd if most were anything but I would say. We are broadly Christian countries, but that doesn't mean the armies chose to go to war they follow orders. It's our politicians who are at fault.

Theres a lot of young people being whipped into a frenzy and enticed into something they don't even understand by those of who want to put hatred and extreme violence first. As we have seen what starts off small soon becomes a forest fire and it is frightening when they keep using their religion as justification for what they are doing.
They are using it as a tool to manipulate others very successfully by making them feel important and that they are working for god.
It's also frightening that it's so relatively easy to do by people intent on evil.
I don't believe it's the religion itself, I think it's been hi-jacked, throwing people off buildings and beheading them etc isn't following religious guidance in any decent persons thinking, whether they are Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu or anything else.
The reason it's happening is because the right factors have come together for the terrorists at this present moment.

Religion - always seems to end up in a fight to the death over whose
imaginary friend is best. We should believe in ourselves & each other.

Funny I find most wars about territory or resources rarely is it really about whose God is better.

That's not what I said, tho a great many wars use religion as an excuse.

Could you explain then what you meant because this bit

seemed to say we fight about whose God is better.

I obviously am misunderstanding something.

Yes - that's often a cause or excuse for wars. Tho not all wars, obviously.

Sorry, I don't do religion as I am not a religious person and was not brought up with religion.
Besides, Chaz (Charles) Bufe is an anarchist; best avoided IMHO. stevmk2
