My boiler pipe outside froze 2 yrs ago, I sat outside all wrapped, hat,scarf and gloves (rubber) hairdryer in one hand glass of whiskey in the other for 2 hrs thawing it out and hitting it with a rubber hammer, my neighbour thought it hilarious, my heating stayed working his didn't.

don't know the bottle must have had a hole in it cos it was nearly full when I started, damned near empty when I finished.

Monday , very cold night last night, -16c, bit warmer now -10c bright sun.
Yesterday was the first day that the sun hit our House since mid October last year, just touched the corner, but now we will get more, if the sun keeps shining

Overcast, grey and dismal here (although dry). Have only recently been able to turn off the lamp beside me because it is so dismal.

it cannot make up it's mind as our weather has been very BI - POLAR the last couple of days ... yesterday we had RAIN, SLEET & then it SNOWED some over night ... so I saw SNOW this morning before I came down here to get online so it is hard to say what today will be like !!
