If we are going for a hard Brexit then the Government and Industry need to get a move on and very quickly.
We will need to get the systems in place to collect the tariffs and for exporters to get their paperwork, including POI Certificates in place.
This will mean, including other things, making physical alterations at ports and airports to check incoming goods and producing the Tariff Schedules.

There was an interesting item on the radio this morning where a manufacturer was saying what these eurocrats forget is he and his fellow manufacturers and their counterparts in the EU don't give a dam about tariffs etc all they want to do is trade and if the politicians get in their way there will be trouble.
