Warts and raw potatoes

Raw potato applied to the wart several times a day will remove warts in about two weeks.
This is especially useful for any thing in a delicate area such as the eye where it would be dangerous to use anything else.

That's interesting Muddy. I knew about the milky substance inside dandelion stems, but not about the potatoes.

Apparently potatoes are full of amnino acids and other good things the body requires.

Rub a small piece of raw meat on warts and secretly bury the meat in the earth and as the meat rots so will the warts, well it worked on my warts many years ago.

Re: Warts and raw potatoes

I have just had a wart on the side of my head removed by the quack using liquid nitrogen spray. Coincidentally, perhaps, it also took almost a couple of weeks to get rid of it but, nevertheless, there it is - gone!

Now I'd like some advice about how to remove some skin tags. They are near to my eye, so I need to be careful. I had thought about snipping them off with a pair of sharp scissors, but that might be a little painful.

OMG!!! JBR dont you go putting scissors anywhere near your eyes like that and cutting off skin tags
OUCH!!!!
Try and tie a very fine thread around the skin tag and just leave it to fall off naturally .

You can use drops of Goldenseal tincture in standard eye saline solution to treat eye conditions.

I can be very careful. I once removed Mrs JBR's stitches when they were due to come out and she didn't feel a thing. They weren't near her eyes though.
