Never actually had a wart but if I had one which bothered me,
why would I bugger around with Old Wives Tale folk remedies ?

Medical science has actually advanced a bit in the last few centuries.
Besides, whilst most warts are benign, occasionally one is not and should be biopsied.
Can also be contagious.
Think I'll stay with the 21st Century.

I can cut the floss to any length, Muddy, but it remains the same thickness!

The second suggestion is worth considering, though. Might be fun for fancy dress parties too. Keep 'em guessing who you are.

Quite....most warts and verrucas will eventually clear up by themselves without treatment, but as you say some may not be 'simple' warts and may require specialist attention.
