Only ask because I only post photos I have taken which shows the skill or otherwise in my own work.

Thanks mags, I would never be able to produce photos as good as these, people are asked to submit their photos from around Australia to ABC Open, who publish them every day. I choose a few I like and post them here.

Rainbow Lorikeet in flight..

Awhile ago I posted this shot cropped in to just around the lorikeet but the more I look at the full picture I like it more than the cropped version. Yes the background is a little distracting but technically im pleased with this shot as the speed in which it launched out of the tree was pretty quick.

How adorable is this little fella? He’s an Orange Bellied Parrot. Can you see the little patch of orange on his belly? Yep, that’s what he’s named after! Unfortunately, they are critically endangered. being most endangered bird in Australia. Thank goodness Healesville Sanctuary have a viable captive population!
