Capilano Bridge

This is really “cool”

Here is a video of how they moved the old Capilano bridge in West Vancouver, BC overnight on June 19 and 20, 2010.

This was done so they can construct a new bridge on its old location. The moved bridge will then be dismantled.

The links below are very cool and show how the old bridge was shifted over in 16 hours July 19th-20th.

The MoT has condensed the webcam images (one viewed from east, one from west)

from the Capilano Bridge sliding into two time-lapse videos. 16 hours goes into 45 seconds...
