No probably not rapist attack for power and rage not because they feel sexy. Many already use instruments instead of a penis so how will removing it stop them ?

NO, it will not!
This is referring to drug therapy, many studies in the past, have shown that even actual castration was fruitless.
Gawd this one is going to get me started!

I thought castration just meant removing the testicles - not the penis, Julie?

It is supposed to also remove the urge - but - as you rightly say some rapists resort to other implements.

The lack of testes means reduction of testosterone so not so easy for a man to get an erection .
However as Julie says rape can be carried out using all sorts of things .

If it was law that rapists would lose their testicles as a penalty, I imagine quite a few would think twice before they raped. The deterrent would be as scary as the surgery itself.
At the moment there is not sufficient deterrent - same with other types of crime too. The rapist knows some women won't even report it for fear of not being believed.
