This is a monument in Winchester called The Buttercross. There were so many people sitting on the steps that surround it that I decided to leave that part out of the shot. Maybe I should have included them because it's the steps that give the monument its name. Farmers used to sell produce from the steps. Dates back to the early 15th century. Restored in the 19th century.
