Yes he's doing ok, but they have to adjust his bolts in his pelvic area, when he stands straight one is pressing into a nerve sending a terribly jolt down his leg. So they are going in to move it or put another to stop that.

Quite often my chemist won't have a particular drug in supply; but he'll always be able to order it in a few days.

Re: Drugs shortage ?

My husband is on five different meds, I phone our local pharmacy to order them once a month and they contact the GP for the prescription, so far we have never had a problem, thank goodness. Which reminds me this month's supply is ready to be picked up tomorrow. They would deliver them free of charge, but as the pharmacy is only down the road I collect them myself, to save them the bother.

Re: Drugs shortage ?

Finally fourth prescription later we have a drug can be used instead of the initial choice that would apparently have been more effective.

Re: Drugs shortage ?

A few months ago I was prescribed some eye drops for a painful eye infection,I tried 4 different paharmacies but was not able yo get them I had to be prescribed something else. My friend in Birmingham was prescribed some tablets but her pharmacy said they didnt have them would she have the capsulses instead? My friend said no because she has been told ,due to her problem, that she must not take capsules, in the end she had to accept the capsulses over the w/end as the pharmacy could not get tablets untill Monday

Re: Drugs shortage ?

Hi

The UK does not manufacture all the Drugs we need, many are manufactured abroad.

The fall in the £ is making many more expensive, so Pharmacies are having to hunt around to stay within Budget.
