In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Trump delivered a more-than-vaguely-sexual response when the magazine's reporter praised Ivanka Trump, a prominent businesswoman in her own right.

It's hardly the first time Trump, the Republican Party's 2016 frontrunner, has gone a shade too far complimenting his daughter.
"If Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her," Trump cracked in a now-infamous 2006 interview with "The View."
Three years earlier, the billionaire real estate mogul described Ivanka as "6 feet tall" with "the best body" during an appearance on Howard Stern's shock jock radio show.
If not testimony to Trump's weird obsession, certainly to his shallowness.

I've been shocked that one of my best friends, who emigrated to the States at age 11 is an ardent Trump supporter. It's almost like she has been brainwashed and I felt as though we might fall out if I criticised him openly. She is a republican voter but he is not really a true republican candidate. Wasn't he at one point in the past funding Clinton? It strikes me that to him this is one big game.

my brother has a tall, statuesque, drop-dead gorgeous 30yo daughter - international ballet 'star', heaps of photographic and fashion modelling etc etc etc.
I have heard him flippantly say things like that over the years and I assure you there is absolutely nothing 'kinky' there.
I think it's just a proud dad boasting that those of the opposite sex would happily walk over broken glass to get to his offspring.

And I bet either daughter would be as embarrassed as hell.

As for being PD's "champion" in that one thread, any impartial person could see she was outnumbered, provoked and subjected to buckets of irrelevant personal muck.
She occasionally responded in kind - but for the most part retained some dignity - unlike others.
Yep, in those circumstances, I'll leap to a lady's defence every time. Sorry.
Chances are that she and I will cross swords over any number of things and then you'll see real (verbal) 'blood on the walls'.

There seem to be as many Americans who cannot accept a democratic decision as there are British with the same problem.Perhaps we ought to do away with democratic elections and just allow those with the loudest voices to make all the decisions.
