Re: The Airport Experience. Love it or Hate it?
They''re strange places aren't they? A kind of no-man's-land where you're trapped between countries. At one end, all anxious, stressed and excited people and at the other dog-tired and exhausted and dying to get home. I find baggage reclaim the worse aspect of it really - the worry that everyone's case will appear but mine, or someone will collect mine in error.Re: The Airport Experience. Love it or Hate it?
Airports are by nature large, noisy and not particularly pleasant.Re: The Airport Experience. Love it or Hate it?
When I used airports I always found Stanstead a pain in the rear to much walking involved I was forever stopping and getting my breath back.Re: The Airport Experience. Love it or Hate it?
I have only flown out of the UK twice since security was tightened and I thought it was hell. It took so long and it was so crowded and those machines they shut you in were awful.Re: The Airport Experience. Love it or Hate it?
Some years ago I went to AustraliaRe: The Airport Experience. Love it or Hate it?
I've not flown much really but when I have I've found the airport experience all part of the holiday . I've never bought anything from duty free as things are pricy . I'm going to Thailand in March and we are booking a lounge at Heathrow prior , I've not had this experience before I'm told we can have a few drinks and nibbles while we wait . As you can tell I'm a novice really . I can Immagine it must be awful for business flyers .
