They're real diddy but you only need to dab on a very small amount at a time.

But .. if you're a little run down and going to be prone to the odd one if you dab a little on at the first sign of any tingling it'll even stop one coming.

I use surgical spirit, you can still get it surely. I have not had my bottle that long.

I've never had a cold sore.
One of my exe's never had one either until we went to Italy. He thought the sunshine brought it on. It was really big and vile looking.

I remember one of these 'celeb' docs reckoned mixing coffee with a little water and putting that on helped if you had nothing else.
I've also heard dapping perfume on as soon as the tingle is felt helps too.

It's a virus I think it only happens when people are run down or stressed, what happens in sun is a slightly different virus, my sister had it as a teen and it erupted everytime sun was out.
