Dame del Noche

I have just been over to one of our German neighbours watching some of the flowers on the Dame del Noche plant open. Amazing, the first flower began opening at approximately 7 p.m. You can actually see the flowers unfurling. At this precise time there are 12 flowers open and more to open tomorrow night, so Klaus tells me. Itīs such a beautiful flower, but lasts for only one night.

Shame it only flowers for the one night , its an unusual flower shape too.
will it have more buds on through the summer Clumsy?

I donīt think so Eliza, I think they only flower once a year and the flowers only open at night.
