Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Well a lot has happened since I last posted.....my younger son who lives in Jo'burg, had a massive heart attack ....his bro who was skiing in France got a taxi to Geneva (£350) then a plane to Jo'burg via Jeddah (£400).....taxi driver very happy I imagine! My d-I-l flew out Thurs. He's recovering after having 2 stents fitted side by side in the same artery and being called the miracle man by his consultant...luckily my son is very fit which helped.....he's still in ICU but has been up and hoping to go to a general ward soon. He's been watching the rugby and the guy in the next bed is the SA rugby player who's got MND and is critical.....

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Heavens Nimby, that must have been a nasty shock for you - and the rest of the family. Hope your son is well on the way to recovery by now.

Took the family out to lunch today. Jamie's 12th birthday on Tuesday and it's turning into a four-day event. His Mum and Dad took him and a few friends to Laser Quest in Merthyr yesterday, while Chris and I went to see "Sing" in the cinema in Hereford.

Think I may have a chilblain on my big toe - anyone know what's good for chilblains? Don't think I've ever had one before.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Discovered on closer examination that I have an infection under my toe nail - ugh! Now on antibiotics.

Cold and wet here today, sitting with foot in bucket of hot salty water has its attractions!
