Actually I saw a really massive spider in Ripon a few weeks ago, I had parked my car on the square and as I got out the biggest spider I have ever seen ran under the car parked next to me... I have never seen such a big spider I was very shocked ...it ended up with a few people who asked if I was ok because I was looking under the car and I must have looked very anxious. A couple of men got down on all fours looking for it but it just disappeared....I think it must have been from the tropics or something really it was so big....I still get anxious thinking about it.

Oh gawd! I think house spiders are bad enough!I encountered big spiders in Africa but not that big!
I hate seeing them in pet shops though in those plastic boxes, it's cruel. They keep snakes and other creatures in them too.
Perhaps someone felt sorry for them and decided to set them free.
This weather will suit them, we need a frost!!!
