Re: Hospital Report
When you consider the NHS began in 1948, it really isn't even a teenager yet. When you consider also, that no-one is turned away British or foreign.. it is a marvellous institution and all for free.Re: Hospital Report
It seems that there is an actual protocol for this. It's called the "Liverpool care pathway euthanasia", where doctors can decide with withdraw fluids and food from a patient. The idea is this is given to a patient who is on the edge of dying to relieve suffering from invasive treatment.Re: Hospital Report
I think the biggest problem with bugs in hospitals now is the use of hand sanitisers & not using soap & hot water, when you see any-one use the hand sanitiser they only rub their hands together, they don't go between & round the fingers & thumbs. Years ago when I was a Chef when surface sanitiser sprays came into use the instances of food poisoning doubled as staff used the spray instead of hot soapy water, same as food handlers wearing gloves they don't think they have to wash their hands at all !Re: Hospital Report
The Liverpool Care Pathway is just a legal form of murder. but they are now supposed to inform you & family that you are on the list, but if you feel you have a good quality of life & don't want to be on it - can you get off it ? It's a good idea to give your children power of attorney before going into hospital so you have some-one to fight your corner because if you don't & you can't speak for yourself they take that as consent.
