I have one too! He's called Fluffy boy Floyd and he's 13. He's been no trouble since the day we got him except one chewed toy! Hope you have a wonderful time with him!

Oh he's gorgeous Audrey, so is yours Twizzard. I will be looking after my friend's dog for 5 days next week - a cross between a Yorky and a Lhasa Apso.

Just got home from the Vet. Mickey is in fine shape. He did find a bit of flea "Dirt" on his head and we are treating that. As for his eating.. yes normal.. He is too excited to eat. The vet gave me a tube of nutri-cal a high calorie supplement in case Mickey starts running out of gas. He's so little that he can become hypoglycemic.. so I can put a fingerfull in his mouth to perk him up if need be. He will be going back Saturday for a puppy shot, as he didn't want to stress him more by vaccinating him today.. He wants him to settle down. ANd the humping the other dogs is normal too.. it's posturing for position. Mickey wants to be taken seriously as part of the pack.

I'm sure everything is new and exciting to him, he'll soon find his place in the pack and settle down.

Only problems we've had medically is anal glands get blocked and ears have to be cleaned frequently. Look out for those. These little cross breeds are lovely!

I'm a pro at squeezing anal glands.. Don't know if that's something to be proud of or not..

Place thumb and forefinger at 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock... push in and squeeze.. Be sure to do it while the dog is in the bath.. I take mine to the dog wash in between groomings.. The groomers are supposed to do it, but I sometimes wonder.

Who'll clean the vomit off me! I just pop him to the vet, very reasonable and painless for me anyway!
