Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)

It's been very windy here and that wind is decidedly chilly.....my conservatory door lock has jammed so to get out to the garden I have to keep the side door unlocked...not keen on that ...thankfully a guy is coming to fix it (Fingers crossed) tomorrow.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)

Another bank holiday looming. They are coming fast and furious. All they mean to me is disruption with dustbin day had doctor app. yesterday followed by company coming in to service environmental controls and then another company that provided Michael's Eye Gaze communication system remotely accessed it to try me find out why it's not functioning. Today it's the dietician to start the process of tube feeding for Michael. Thursday the Eye Gaze Company are back here with other systems to try , and demonstrate. It is making Michael very low, not being able to communicate.

Care issues still up in the air. We have a new 8 until 4 who are far better and sending really good and nice people, although taking some training. It's the live ins causing the probs. one we have is fantastic but we have had three new ones in three weeks with the second one.

The twins both have chicken pox. You could play dot to dot on them

Hope the weekend weather improves as it's been very wet and windy over the last few days.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)

Glad to hear all your news Celyn, even if it isn't all good news. ((((Hugs to you both))))))))))))). Fine start to the morning here, but I expect more of those April/May showers later. They are so heavy when they come. I really need to get to the Garden Centre for compost, but don't know when I'm going to fit that in.

This weather doesn't inspire, does it? I put my hanging baskets Sunday, up they have been *proving* in the greenhouse since I planted them up a couple of weeks ago. They are a bit slow off the mark. It was freezing out with the dogs this morning, blowing and trying hard to rain.
