Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)

Have a great time Nimby - looked at Nerja on Google, looks lovely. Still quite chilly here and it has been raining on and off all day. Just taken Lexi home to her Dad - anything to get out of the house for an hour. Apart from watering the tomatoes and taking out their side shoots (how do they manage to have new ones every day?) I've spent all day sewing.

Now watching "Japan" on the box, wonderful series. Anyone else seen it?

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)

Vera was telling me yesterday that she enjoyed the Japan programme Sue. I'll have to watch out for it , its bound to be repeated .
I've got 3 tomato plants on balcony but I didn't know you had to take side shoots off ??? Not sure what to do but I didn't last year and had a good crop.
I had nearly run out of whisky so popped out . Cant be having a whisky free night . LOL
My washing is blowing at the moment but looks like it may rain

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)

I'm still popping in Jac. Did you see "Japan" - it was on BBC2 last night, but I think it's repeated later in the week.

I'm rather busy atm finishing off the kneelers for Church. We have a dedication ceremony on Sunday evening and they've all got to be done by then. I've done my two, but I'm finishing off two more for friends - why do I say I'll do these things?.................................

My decorator is here, attacking the spare room, so I had to dash to Brecon this morning for paint. This room is going to cost my a fortune by the time it's finished.. - but still, I'll never do it again!!

Hi Sue , no I missed it again, don't know why because I watched an ITV3 load of rubbish called Love Island. Must be the worse thing I've watched in ages !!
Been to meet friends for a pub lunch in Linden Tree so just got in . Its nice and sunny but the sun has gone around the back now and that breeze is still chilly

I'm still around.Recovering from the wedding at the weekend. It was a lovely day,my granddaughter loved every second and it showed in her smiles.Didn't stay long for the night do-left that to the youngsters.
My friend's funeral is on Friday.Still finding it hard,I've gone to pick the phone up a few times to tell her something.

Hello all, funny old day, quite a chill still .
Daughter called down for coffee and I'm going to a friends b/day meal in the Newton tonight .
I know how you feel Enfys, I lost a few good friends in the last 2 years and still miss them .
