They do indeed, Val. I haven't actually been there yet, but I was talking to a friend recently who had and I think he said it was £12 for a tour of the premises followed by just about as much as he could drink!
Sounds okay to me!

Sounds good! Went round the brewery in Masham a few years ago which was interesting, but I don’t like beer and don’t drive either so hubby would have limited drinking! I seem to remember at Masham you got a bottle each to bring home.

Oops, can’t remember now whether it was Theakston’s or Black Sheep, probably Theakston’s.

I quite like Theakston's Old P, but I couldn't manage more than one pint of it.

God bless my petite auburn-haired mother who weighed all of 85 pounds.

I've been trying to make up for it ever since.

My older sister weighed in at 11lbs-12ozs, and that was my Mum's firstborn!

I weighed in at an average 7lbs a few years later in Wells, Somerset.

Re: Where were you born?

I heard this tale when I was a child, it still amuses me. My grandfather, who was a farmer, employed a man whose wife seemed to produce children on a regular basis, weighing about14 or 15lbs! He apologised to my grandfather for being late to work one day, he said his wife had just had another baby, but the poor little child was so small, only 11lbs.
