Bruce
Wigan beat Manchester City 1-0 in the FA Cup Final. I didn't think it was a dull match either,it wasn't brilliant but I certainly wasn't bored.

Could be relegated next week, yet will play in Europe next year. Fa Cup still provides a bit of Magic.

Bruce is in Australia, he may not have heard of Wigan Athletic,OR the FA Cup, he may be a rugby man.

Thanks for that, actually I found out this morning (Monday) on a sports summary of the weekend. Soccer is a pretty minor sport here to be honest though it has picked up a bit since the start of the A league however I doubt it will ever catch up with the main footie codes or indeed Rugby - too many draws.

Its fairly popular among women here though they can't get enough grounds to play on, my daughter played for a local team for a few seasons.

I nearly choked with laughter when I read this, it has a whole different meaning in Australia.
