Not a pretty image ... too much like a squashed jelly baby.

Besides, I'm sure men, aside from been colourfast , are best put through on the longest heavy duty cycle ideal for heavy soiling and it might shrink them.
No ironing needed to remove creases.
But if need be I'd put them away neatly in a foldaway stowable trouser press.

Young here is quite smart really jeans and nice shirts and either a jacket or long coat. My husband however likes track suit trousers and t shirts and looks rather less than smart, but he's happy and comfortable so I'm not going to complain. We always laugh it looks like I've taken the gardener or builder to the shops with me especially as I carry the cards and pay
