Mad episode in Tesco

I'd done around half my shopping and was alerted to screams and shouts.

This woman (early 40s, I'd guess) was throwing all the jars of pasta sauce around, dashing them on the floor, and sweeping other items from the shelf with her hands.

I would have approached, but by that time other customers and staff members were in attendance.

Some sort of psychotic break, perhaps? I do hope that they treated her with compassion rather than phoning the Police. By the time I'd left one aisle was slick and slippery with sauce and broken glass.

Anyway, by the time I'd done my shopping I realised that some people have it worse than me.

Poor woman, you did right though too many people around her wouldn't help her I'm guessing. Hope she's ok.

Protesting about the minimum price of alcohol maybe ?

Frightening for people witnessing it, much more frightening for her though.
Hope she is getting the help she needs now.

She was well away from the alcohol aisle. I've witnessed people highly distressed before but never in a supermarket...a panic attack wouldn't have caused what she did but I hope she's OK whatever her problem is.

How distressing for you Dreamy.
You make a big effort to go shopping, and then witness this.

More strange than distressing...I guess she had issues.

Still, I got 2 pomegranates for 79p.

Yes, it seems so.
The only thing I have done, when really upset, is to go under a
railway bridge and scream when the train goes over.
That is what happened when I lost someone I love, did to me.

It was the loss of my younger brother, years ago now.
It was a good way to vent off, as it never disturbed anyone.
