Help - All you computer people

I have a Mac and don't understand PC , so I cannot help my cousin who has a small problem. He doesn't know how to empty his cookies and cache.

He has a Dell computer. (Laptop)

I know it is important to clean these out regularly if you want your computer running smoothly.

So, will someone please tell me how to do it, so I can tell him?

Thanks in advance

Do you know what version of Windows he is running, e.g. 7, 8,10 ?

Hi Blue
Surely all he has to do in his browser is to do a dropdown of whatever browser he is using top left hand corner of screen (I use Opera) and that will give the option Clear Browsing Data.

https://www.opera.com/download/index...=11.01&local=y

PS.
I use my 27" IMac computer Blue.
Plus I have IPhone and IPads.

I do also have a Windows Samsung laptop though.

Just Google it?
Ask Google "how to clear cache on *insert browser name* *insert OS* "

The browser he surfs with will have tools built in to delete history and cookies. Firefox for example which I use has a History pull down menu on its toolbar, there's an option in there to clear history. Better still download and install Ccleaner https://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

https://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Windows-7-Cache

How to Clear Windows 7 Cache

Full Instructions

Probably best to print it - the first 3 pages only.

If it seems too complicated then just do the browser cleans, as advised above.
