I don't actually remember too much about the our wedding, nearly 49 years ago. I had absolutely no interest in it, I just wanted to get it over and done with and get on with my new life in the UK. I left everything to my parents. My only stipulation was that the dress shouldn't frilly and flouncy. I would have much preferred a quick ceremony in a registry office, not having to dress up for the occasion. My parents had other ideas, it was a large wedding with lots of guests, most of whom I didn't know, BORING.

Re: I was there

In 1987 when, Coventry City football team beat Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup Final. l put my children in the car and travelled over to Coventry for us to participate in the huge celebration.
The atmosphere was electric!

I also, loved standing on a cliff in Cornwall at around 11am on 11th August 1999 with a glass of pink champagne in my hand, celebrating the total solar eclipse.
It was a unforgettable experience!

How very sad, a life without laughter or love, I can understand now why you are so embittered and hateful, all that brainwashing and propaganda over so many years.
