Re: Clothes washing..

A couple of washes a week. Sometimes refresh things like cushion covers or light jacket or scarf on the 15 min cycle.

Re: Clothes washing..

I also, sort my washing into piles and then wash them when there’s enough for a wash!
I prefer if l can, to hang them out on the line as some of the washing liquids are so pungent and overpowering!

I knew a lady who washed her knickers every day in case she died! She didn’t want anyone to find her dirty knickers!

Re: Clothes washing..

Dirty wash twice a week, that's all the dog stuff and my husbands muddy dog walking towels.

Uniforms twice a week or daily in summer.

Bedclothes once a week.

All other clothes weekly.

Various temperatures and times and yes tumble dryer is popular, if it doesn't go in there it has to hang around the flat and that causes damp.

I've got one skirt has to be washed alone as dye comes out at such a rate it makes everything purple ! I've set it many times still oozes purple.

Muddy, l find some of the washing powders aren’t as pungent. It’s the washing liquids that are really overpowering!

I can even smell strong washing perfumes on people who pass me in the street! I’m not sure if it’s because they put too much in the wash or the clothes are not rinsed properly?!

Re: Clothes washing..

Tesco non biological doesn't have a pungent smell, tumble dryer kills any fabric conditioner smells.
