We've discussed this on the Yorkshire thread the consensus being it would only be viable if any of those `in charge` were not affiliated to a political party but would put the interests of Yorkshire first.The fact that the point has been raised by the Labour MP for Keighley speaks volumes - looks like he's got designs on being in charge of the new devolved Yorkshire. This alone should preclude him from being in the new governing body.
