While I don't have a problem with quiet patriotism, it's not something I have ever felt, really. Except perhaps a little pride in my Polish genes.

Yes I'm a Patriot and couldn't imagine living anywhere else but Scotland,though My eldest Daughter who has lived in Kent for 30 yrs is talking about building on a Granny flat for Me in My doteage!...They live in a Large house in a beautiful small Village, but I'm a Townie who also likes a quiet Life..but not THAT quiet :~)
