If the answer is always yes, there is no need to think. Just say yes. Explains a lot about the choices made by brexiteers, doesn't it?

Partial quote from Frederich Forsythe writing for the Daily Express.

We were told that Maastricht was just "a tidying up exercise".

In fact it transferred most of our sovereignty from London to Brussels.

There are four simple criteria in the form of questions.

Is there any government in the world that can overrule the British one on matters concerning only the British? Yes, Brussels.

Is there any court that can over-rule the British Supreme Court? Yes, the European Court of Justice.

Do we have the right, through our elected government, to decree who may enter our borders, how long they may stay and who may have to leave? No, Brussels does.

Lastly, can we clinch any trade treaty with anyone we choose? Not without permission from Brussels.

Thus governmental, judicial, territorial and mercantile sovereignty resides in Brussels, not London.

Most of those now described as Remainers have not worked this out yet.

End Quote.

This man has hit the nail on the head when it comes to the reasons I voted to leave.

Foreign powers, notably two gentlemen - Napoleon and Hitler, have made valiant attempts to conquer this country.

Both failed miserably.

The would-be emperors of the world have now discovered an easier way: conquest by politics!

And it seems to be working.

What country? Isn't the UK a conglomerate formed of four formerly independent countries of wich three were conquered in bloody wars by the fourth? And one isn't even fully conquered yet, but putting up brave resistance.

This House of Lords Library Briefing has been prepared in advance of the debate due to take place on 17 January 2019 in the House of Lords on the motion moved by Lord Lisvane (Crossbench), “that this House takes note of the possible effects of Brexit on the stability of the Union between the parts of the United Kingdom".

This country as in UK, and any bloody battles were many year ago, we don't consider them our conquests but our partners. It's sad the rabble rousing both EU and yourself are trying between our countrymen and women. We don't mean them any harm we see them as friends.

No you have that totally wrong.

Wales has never been an independent sovereign country........ever............oops, didn't know that did you??

Major f**k up on your part not even knowing the basics of the historical situation you are trying to use against us.

Scotland chose to join the Union.......... In fact, it invented the Union. It was a Scottish construct.....

The Union is the longest lasting , most successful and most peaceful union of countries in the history of the world and is unique in preserving the cultural identities of it's component parts.

I can fully understand why yu are so jealous!!!!
