never was very good at knitting.....only baby jackets i could manage...anything bigger than that ,,put me to sleep

I find now I'm older, complicated patterns are harder to follow. I stick to simpler things now. I have a nice pattern for a knitted turban (retro-look) so simple and quick, knitting them for Xmas pressies!

I am not into any of these handicrafts personally but occasionally when browsing Youtube videos i get sucked into watching video after video of tutorials by people who seem so talented and making things out of scrap or bits of paper.

One origami video which I watch showed you how to accurately create a twelve sided piece of paper which I thought fascinating even if totally useless information (for me).
