Rose coloured Starlings.

Its worth keeping your eyes on Starling flocks to see if one of them has a Rose coloured Starling in their midst.

Bit of an influx going on from eastenmost Europe at the moment.

It can be the case, but ive not seen evidence of the ones ive encountered, they can hang around for a while frequenting the same garden.

I get a lot of starlings here Nom,greedy little blighters they are,i believe mealworms are a favourite of theirs,when i put the worms out,they are gone within minutes, never seen one that colour, but will keep an eye out.

Never seen amything like that Nom, in fact I'd never have known it was a Starling even. Quite pretty isn't it.

so pretty, I've never seen those before, wish I had. I love birds, sooooo many species with so much colour, I wouldn't mind taking up bird watching

They are indeed bonny birds, the first i saw had been in a garden for two weeks, the owner thought was a funny coloured magpie.

We hardly ever see a starling down here but there are lots of rook with white markings .( leucistic)
