RIP Teddy Johnson

Of Pearl Carr and Teddy Johnson.
My mother loved them and they were always on the record player in our house, and one of the reasons why I left home.

Pearl is still around,I think.

As these old style singers leave us you wonder if it will also be the end of those wonderful old songs that we all knew the words to and got everyone singing.

Re: RIP Teddy Johnson

I vaguely remember them from my childhood. Haven't heard of them for a very long time. If you showed me a photo of them I couldn't have told you who they were, but I knew the name.
