Just been hugged by the baker in the village! Rushed in there on my way home and she commented that I didn't normally go in there on Saturdays. I explained I had just had a mammogram and needed cake. She gave me hug and an extra slice of cake for free! Aren't people kind.

I’ve had a hug from Mr Mags this morning and he’s had one in return

My daughter called in yesterday while I was at the shops and unfortunately she couldn’t stay long so I missed her .... and our hugs we usually have

Seriously, if anybody gets close enough to hug me I panic and hyperventilate

I just cannot stand anyone that close to me, my kids included. I've always been a bit uncomfortable with physical closeness but in the last few years it's reached phobic proportions.

I attribute it to whatever causes me to be antisocial and intolerant of other people.

Yes. My husband hugs me every day and I him.

I hug my children and grandchildren and close friends. I'm not comfortable hugging anyone else though, nor will I.

My husband and I rarely hug or kiss these days, no problem.

We are still very close even after all these years, no problem for us either, each to their own.
