The wonderful thing about scribbles
Cos scribbles are wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs!
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about scibbles is
It's the only one

Very warm here today, but lovely all the same.

Lovely to hear your written ‘Voice ‘ again Fruity.
I recently saw a BBC documentary on iron chain making in 1800’s Britain, mostly women working on the smaller gauge chain, bloody tough work.
Would that brass chain not tarnish yery quickly from the weather Fruity? Maybe it has some sort of plating or coating to make it more weatherproof, anyway good luck with it.
That's the idea. Once it's tarnished I will blend into the background better and be less obtrusive to the eyeball.

I've tried netting in the past but it shows up too much and spoils the view of the pond and the fishes. I've put a low fence round said pond made from stair spindles cut in half and three rows of chain, all to stop the foxes from fishing.
The mark one was with thin rope, but the foxes quickly chewed through it, hence the mark two thin brass chain. I now need to make a latticework on the top to stop the ruddy heron from alighting.

You speak for yourself Gummy me lad, welcome him with joy and fatted calves sure enough (must not keep thinking of the wife’s legs, her sister ran away once as a teenager, when she came back her father gave her two fatted calves to go with her fatted belly) but as for the hugging and kissing bit, that’s strictly for the birds.
