Nice and sunny here but quite a breeze so I've got washing out and that's the most exciting thing I am going to do today
Hope you all have a good one

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 1)

Bore da all. Haven't pulled curtains yet, so don't know what it's like outside. Seems S Wales is in lock down with the NATO summit. Some schools closed, grand kiddies with staggered hours (going in at 11 or coming home very early, which changes daily)

Doctors this am then a full day. Michael's hoists serviced, new domestic assistant (I refuse to call a lovely young lady who is such a treasure a cleaner) every day is a full day as we change care companies, training etc. did not know until 4 p.m. If we had a carer last night. CCG had read riot act to care company.

Dogs and cats waiting for brekkies...

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 1)

My grandson's house backs on to Tredegar Park Celyn (over garden wall) peace protesters camping there while the N.A.T.O conference is on, don't know how much sleep they are getting??, must be some late shenanigans I would have thought

Fine but not such a bright start here this morning, off to Jeannie's for coffee later.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 1)

Morning all. Slept a bit later than usual this morning, Lexi must have had her legs crossed, we are usually off down the road at 7 am! I was without a carer yesterday Celyn, one went off home with an upset tum (last thing we want here), so finally did my shopping at 7 pm last night. Actually it was quite pleasant, and quite quiet, but I was tired when I got home so left it all in the car apart from the frozen stuff, so will have to go and empty that now.

Dentist for Rob later, so must shuffle the cars round the yard too.

Waiting for phone call from DFS to give me a delivery time for new sofa and chair.....can't wait to sit on a proper chair....garden loungers are ok for a while but a bit on the hard side despite cushions.
Had helicopters flying overhead last night including a huge one which may have been Obama's......thought he might have dropped in for a glass of rose

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 1)

Been a grey day......again.

Well all,the fuss, and the conference seemed to be over very quickly.

Managed to spend a little time playing with my new camera, so many interruptions I gave up.
