Thank you Julie.

I have had a look at both Catsey and Dogsey, Catsey looks very much like this forum with all the relevant areas in front of you when you go in.
Dogsey has the 'News' page with the 'taster' news item at the start and then you have to click on the forums to get to the general layout.
I then saw that there is a 'News' area containing those same news items that are on the Home page.
So, apart from having the news items upfront that may serve to draw your interest to read further, it seems an unnecessary way to get to the same thing.

My personal opinion only.

After the changes that took place on Friends Re-united which changed so much it's now unrecognizable and frequent changes on Facebook which annoy me no end, I wouldn't want this forum to go the same way, it's fine as it is x

What puzzles me is why can't members just go to the news section ? if news is their thing. I would love animals threads to be shown first but it's easy enough to just pop into that part of the forum first.
