Running and fitness is not in itself a 'dangerous occupation'

There are thousands on entries each year and in it's 34 year history there have been 12 deaths the majority of these deaths were caused by pre-existing heart conditions, either blocked vessels or congenital problems.
One year a man died from drinking too much water.

at one point in human history men in particular ran - Greeks, Romans, Aborigines, Zulus etc, etc - it was a means of "ancient internet" - sending messages - BUT they usually picked the young and the fitest not boring old farts trying to prove they were young again!

, and pickled forever.
I used to work with a chap and he was big into fitness and all that type of stuff, he would drink about 7 pints of water in the course of an eight hour working day, Winter and Summer, up and down at the bench all day, he used to drink more when he got home, he said it flushed out all the impurities out of his body.
He never showed up for work one morning and we heard he was taken into hospital, something to do with all the water he was drinking, I know nothing about medical stuff but when he came out he was off the pints of water.

Incorrect.
She had an undiagnosed rare congenital heart condition and it could have happened anywhere at any time.
