Swimming in the sea

Anyone thinking of cooling off by swimming in the sea, may want to rethink that:

Every year, around 80 unprovoked sharks attacks are reported worldwide.

Every year, over there are over 10,000 accidental deaths in the UK alone, 2,000 of which are falls.

There were 4 fatalities worldwide in 2016 out of a world poplation of 7,466,964,280.

The chances of being attacked by a shark wouldn't stop me swimming in the sea. More likely to get killed crossing the road.

If we worry about every little thing we wouldn't do anything.

Indeed, there are over 400 pedestrians killed by vehicles every year in the UK alone .....

I'd be more concerned about swimming among the human waste disgorged into the sea, Blackpool being a fine example.
