Re: Printers

You can't edit the photos on it though Julie, unless you edit on your laptop and save again on the card, lot of fiddling.
I always edit my pics even if just to crop them.

Re: Printers

Can you fiddle with saturation, contrast etc?
They stopped making the Kodak one I had and I couldn't get ink, they were very clear prints though.

Re: Printers

I had a thought the other day, I was looking through old photos (prints) and wondered whether my grandchildren will be able to look at my photos or will they have disappeared into the ether.
The speed at which systems change could we lose our photo memories?
I'm wanting to print some family photos etc. just in case!

Re: Printers

Sorry no idea about saturation etc it's very new and I have only used it to print my pictures from the sd card in my camera, just daft pics of dogs and kids.

Re: Printers

I've just resized one on Microsoft word.
have page at 100%
insert your pic.
grab the corner "handle" and resize.
course you'll have to put a larger size paper in printer! but if you go into printer settings and alter to 4x6 its better than wasting an A4 photo sheet.
try it with any picture first for a practice

I only have Works I think. I'm still not sure what I have on my laptop, I've only had it since Windows 7 came out! I still miss Millennium!

Re: Printers

I renewed mine on their website Tessa, just copy and paste your photo into their application form and they will do the rest.

I have an Epson ... Does a great job and the cartridges are very cheap too, not like the HP
HP Compatible inks are very cheap - Comparison:

https://www.internet-ink.com/

HP 364 XL Original Ink Complete Pack - 4 Inks - Capacity 30ml - Black, Magenta, Cyan, Yellow - £48.53 inc VAT

HP 364 XL Compatible Ink Complete Pack - 4 Inks - Capacity 69ml (over 2X Original) - Black, Magenta, Cyan, Yellow - £15.99 inc VAT
Plus I get free postage (usually next day) and 10% loyalty discount (so I pay only £14.40 for Compatible)
