Sat Navs or knowledge?

Many phone calls. My friend Jane was due to see my mother today. Jane was going from near Corby to Bedfordshire.

Sat nav says-take the M1.. Whoops. Yet another enormous delay,Jane stuck for over 2 hours and has to give up.

Stephan can you ring your mum again and tell her I give up?

Why did you take the M1?-it`s a nightmare-there is a safer route.

So now you tell me.

She will learn for next week

I would not be without a Satnav and I do not use Motorways waithout checking for possible delays first.

Re: Sat Navs or knowledge?

I have not got a SatNav, and my map book is 2008.

I have got to go with a friend to Solihull next Tuesday, so if no one hears from me again, you will know we are still bumbling around the countryside into eternity. . .

I have always found that the best way is to use a bit of everything:

Sat Nav

Common sense.

Combine the three and you are likely to reach your destination in good time.

Sat nav or Sue, she is brilliant at direction and which route to take.
Me? if I get lost I just ask the nearest pretty female for directions back to her place

Dongle my dear, you are saying this to someone who easily gets lost in a car park!

I think you will have to track me so you can come to the rescue if we are still drifting around by Wednesday. I shall worry about me dogs you see.

According to Mrs LDs, there's always a better route I could have taken.

I'll track you from the car park if you can find your way out of the supermarket first.
