That power supply probably has a fan inside.

That may be the fan which is screaming for attention.

Just a thought.


Except those are my pics not OG's.

In actual fact that motherboard has gone to meet its maker and replaced by a Lenovo desktop but the power supply has been saved.

Hi Older git,
This seems to me like a problem within your system rather than in your hardware to be honest, although I don't know how the old the PC is.

But if I may ask, when was the last time that you did a full re-installation of your operating system?

The reason I ask, is because a processor can get warm from not being able to lose its heat, but it can also get warm because it gets used to intensively.

Is it possible your computer has also become very slow?
