With the worlds population increasing by the billion every year where do we suppose we are going to get our food from in the future?

Our traditional fishing grounds seem in better fettle than they have previously. Farmed fish too salmon and the like all thriving.

Hi

When we leave we will be able to set our own standards for food.

We all have our ideas on what we consider acceptable.

Personally I have no problem with GM foods, but I don't want to be eating chlorinated foods or foods with hormones and antibiotics in them.

Food has been genetically modified for years, breeding, hybridisation etc.
Nature genetically modifies things, survival of the fittest etc.
I don't agree with hormones or chemicals being used or added either or herbivore animals being fed meat.

Re: Brexit equals Chlorinated chicken and other nasties

I don't eat chicken so it doesn't bother me but on balance being washed in chlorine is probably preferable to salmonella or e coli.

No one is forced to buy meat treated this way, everyone would be a lot healthier if they only ate meat occasionally then purchase good quality British meat preferably organic.
